Cycle 1  program (3 to 6years) Montessori Preschool

Cycle 1 is a multi-age classroom environment for children aged 3 to 6 years.

The benefits of a multi-age classroom environment are truly remarkable. Younger children gain knowledge and skills by learning from their older peers, while older children develop leadership and mentoring abilities. This dynamic fosters a collaborative, enriching atmosphere that supports holistic growth and creates a nurturing, family-like environment where all children thrive together.

Our Cycle 1 Montessori program integrates pre-school outcomes within our program providing a holistic learning environment for children prior to going to primary school or moving onto Montessori Cycle 2. Children develop academically, emotionally and socially in preparation for a successful transition to primary school. 

Transition Program 2.5 to 3 years

Our Transition Program gently supports children aged 2.5 to 3 years as they adapt to a structured learning environment. In a nurturing and caring setting, children develop independence, confidence, and foundational skills, preparing them for the next step in their Montessori journey.

When ready, typically at 3 years of age, children transition into our multi-age Cycle 3 program, where they continue to grow and thrive in a collaborative and stimulating environment. available to these children.

Before, After School, and Holiday Care 

At East Killara Montessori Preschool, we are pleased to offer before and after school care, as well as holiday care, for siblings and past students aged 5 to 7 years. Our programs provide a safe, engaging, and familiar environment that supports families with older children.

Our Montessori holiday care program is thoughtfully designed to be both diverse and fun, offering a wide range of activities to entertain, inspire, and enrich children's experiences. From creative arts and crafts to outdoor adventures and interactive games, every child has the opportunity to explore their interests, make new friends, and enjoy a memorable holiday experience.
